[edit] Description
This 99 foot long, 87-tonne wooden paddlewheeler burned right down to the waterline and sank at the foot of Entrance Bay. It was moved to its current location by scuba enthusiasts.
Besides the wreck, there is plenty of trash and an old car in the vicinity.
[edit] Access
Ask permission beforehand from the rowing club to use their dock.
Take a small step off the center of the T-shaped dock and descend directly onto the wreck.
[edit] Hazards
Visibility is very bad here. Use a good dive light.
The wreck is partially under the dock. Look up when ascending.
This spot is directly in front of the Ottawa Rowing Club. Their sculls are fast, silent, and pointy. Don't get hit in the head by one.
