Clear lake. Miners Bay. 1189 Clear Lake Road

Current:Very little if any

Depth: 60ft max

Visibility: Viz can be hit or miss, Different depths , different conditions

Water temperature: Bay has 2 or 3 serious thermclines to be aware of. warm on serface, very cold at 45 ft

A fun easy dive. Bay has an old 1930's auto in rough condition and some great wall diving as well.

Follow Hwy#35 to Miners Bay. Follow Clear Lake Rr to 1189. Park along the road at small clearing. Be aware of traffic on the road at all times.

[edit] Hazards

Only real hazards are the sometime murky water and the cold water changes of the thermoclines

[edit] Recent Conditions

As of June/20/2010.... water was fairly clear. Viz was at best 15ft. Surface was 75F and 40F at depth below 40 ft.
