Boat or Private access with owner permission.

From Hwy #60 take South Portage Rd, to the boat ramp just past Marina road. Looking southward from the ramp, you will see a boat house at the point where the bay goes out into the lake, the dock just north of the boat house is where the wreck lies, approximately 10ft north of the dock.

Permission is required to use the dock. Shore drops off very quickly to depth. Anchoring is generally not a problem.

[edit] Hazards

Boat traffic, this site is near the point where all traffic exits the bay to go out to the lake. The water is cold and dark, year round.
