Current: strong, should only be dove during low water times

Depth: 3'-8'

Visibility: 15' However, is reduced significantly after a heavy rain

Water temperature: From 20C - 28C in the summer

[edit] Description

Most of the glass and ceramic objects are broken at this site. However, it is still quite interesting to examine what is left and try to figure out their date based on quality, colour and other characteristics.

This site has plenty of marine life as well.

Shore Dive.

Located in Petawawa, 100m north of the Victoria and Albert Street intersection. Park on the road and take one of the trails that lead you to the river's edge.

[edit] Hazards

This site is located just above a set of rapids and as such one must take care to know one's position to avoid being pulled down the rapids.

The current can be strong and this site should only be dove during times when the water level is low. (e.g., late summer)

Due to the abundant marine life, one can find many fishing lures and as such pay attention for fishing lines.
